Stereo Combining Speaker Outputs How To Bridge An Amp For Better Speakers?

How to bridge an amp for better speakers? - stereo combining speaker outputs

I have a Stagepas 300 (2 x 160W) and a 6 ohm channel. However, recently bought, 2 x 240W speakers 8 ohms, and I wonder, could weather the two amplifiers (stereo) for a single (mono) High power output for active speakers at 480W, then combine the group of speakers together ? This can cause overheating of the amplifier / Dangereuse

You must ensure that the amplifier can save everyone first.

Reducing the impedance change that provides the amplifier, and if the amplifier is not eligible for this change in impedance, which can be damaged.

A simple explanation (which is technically true, as is off the second link explains how) is the closure of half of the impedance for each channel, increasing the power amplifier is. If the amplifier is not qualified for this increased production, either a) or b frying sending large pulses of square waves) in the speakers, possibly damaging or destroying it.

Good luck, proceed with caution, and not at all, unless confirmation from the manufacturer is written (ie manual, Google if you do not) do, that it does not damage your amplifier.

Abe - The mixer amplifier Yamaha Stage PAS can not be saved - sorry. If you have more power, buy power amplifiers at low prices:
